Through careful investigation and consulting with the homeowner-who noted that the flooding occured only when using the kitchen sink or dishwasher we isolated the issue to a failing, legacycopper kitchendrain stack and waste line leaking in to the block wall.

To resolve the issue, our technicians:

• Located the percise source of the subsurface leak inside the wall.

• Carefully jackhammered the concrete block to safely expose the leaking plumbing.

• Excavated and removed the corroded copper piping.

• Re-piped the leaking section using durable, modern Schedule 40 DWV (Drain Waste Vent) PVC piping
